About
Built around the handoff
Freight rarely fails in motion. It fails where it changes hands. Checkpoint Cargo was built to make every one of those moments visible.
Since 2009
We started as a three-desk forwarder working a single Midwest–Rotterdam lane, moving machine parts for manufacturers who were tired of guessing where their containers were.
The answer was never a fancier portal. It was discipline: scan the cargo at every transfer, publish it immediately, and staff a control tower that never closes. That habit turned into the checkpoint model the company runs on today.
Sixteen years later we clear customs in 84 countries and scan over 1.4 million checkpoints a year — with the same rule holding: if we touched it, it's on the record.
No silent cargo
If a shipment sits, you hear it from us first. Exceptions are published to the tracking record, not buried in an inbox.
Operators, not scripts
Every account has named dispatchers. The person who answers at 2am can actually move the freight.
One record, end to end
Mode changes, transfers and customs stops all land on the same tracking number — no reference juggling.
